For sure I have walked some tough miles in my 67years, miles in anger, bitterness, grief but I was never alone. I felt alone, but I was never alone, I acted often as if I was alone, but I was never alone. What a precious story about your little girls grief, thanks God He put tears in one so young, tears to express our hearts. Like Amanda, I can be with you in spirit, in prayer but God not only is with you but IN YOU. When everyone else leaves us, He never does, never. Be of good courage He has over come the world. I'm sorry for the loss of your mawmaw, and the other silent griefs that tiptoe in to peek from your voice as well, my friend.

No easy answers or fixes, just a respectful nodding in humble solidarity,
Jennifer Dougan
www.jenniferdougan.comJennifer Douganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05659224247916807471noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-73589697434559601002014-12-05T23:10:30.516-05:002014-12-05T23:10:30.516-05:00I love you, Amanda. I would like for someone to pass me a candle...or the peace. I would like for someone to acknowledge my pain."
Passing a candle and saying a prayer all the way from Missouri - as one who also fights or flees but is also never the doormat. Trying to learn the best things to do as an example for my kids - I failed today, but there is grace for tomorrow. I desperately need grace and someone beside me this advent.Amanda MacBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01333540126086381630noreply@blogger.com
