Always glad to see you.
Heavenly...Love you, Laura. Always glad to see you.

Heavenly Father, I lift the Boggess family up to You. Thank You for providing for them through Laura's husband's new job. Please help him learn his duties easily and perform them well. Please be with Laura as she writes. Give her words, Father, and help her to meet her deadline with ease. Bless the boys during this year of learning and growing, and be with the entire family during this time of transition. Help us to rest, Father, at the foot of the cross. Thank You that we are more than conquerors through Your Son Jesus. In His name I pray, amen.Brandee Shaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960175760263515363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-35830753307248657842013-08-28T23:18:53.193-04:002013-08-28T23:18:53.193-04:00You are such a blessing. I love that you are doing...You are such a blessing. I love that you are doing this. It is such a beautiful way to use your gift of hospitality and love. Keep praying for my husband as he adjusts to a new job that asks more of him than we are all used to having to give? And that I will not only meet the publication deadline for this book I'm writing, but rock it? We are more than overcomers, right? Opening the hands daily. Heavenly Fa...Love you, Amy. Thanks for being here.

Heavenly Father, I lift up this family on Amy's heart. It's so hard to watch a loved one suffer, so hard to say goodbye. I ask Your drawing near during this time. Give them Your peace, Father. I ask for a gentle crossing for this one who has cancer, and I pray for his or her preparedness for eternity. Thank You for who Amy is. Help her to make the most of any and all opportunities she has to minister to this family, and send other helpers, besides. In Your Son's name I pray and ask these favors, amen.Brandee Shaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960175760263515363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-80674407368522086752013-08-24T20:38:46.783-04:002013-08-24T20:38:46.783-04:00September 6th. . .got it.

Dear Heavenly Father, You know ALL the ...Love you.

Dear Heavenly Father, You know ALL the needs of Becky's family during this season of the year and this season of their lives. Thank You that each of them carries You everywhere (s)he goes; I still feel so blessed in witnessing the girls' baptisms and just the solid heritage of faith running from grandparents all the way through to grandchildren. I love knowing how You love and carry this family. I pray that they'll really feel Your presence in uncertainty: whether it be over husband's surgery, job situations, school situations, community situations, etc. We love and thank You. In Your Son's name I pray, amen.Brandee Shaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960175760263515363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-14392876247189596402013-08-24T07:37:02.483-04:002013-08-24T07:37:02.483-04:00The list is long friend. The girls starting school soon etc... Maybe I can call you before that appointment on the 12th?

Father God, thank You for Amanda and her faith in You. Thank You for the hours and hours of around-the-clock time she invests in her family. Give her your peace and strength. Thank You for her family: this hard-working, hard-studying husband and precious boys. Be with all of them this semester. Bless them in their learning, loving, working, and all the rest. Draw them ever closer to one another and to You. In Your Son's name I pray, amen.Brandee Shaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960175760263515363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-13975481623551437962013-08-23T09:13:38.991-04:002013-08-23T09:13:38.991-04:00God, You know what will happen on Sept. 6, but I s...God, You know what will happen on Sept. 6, but I still pray because You want us to do so. You want us to bring our needs, our worries, and our hopes to You and chat. So I pray for Brandee's brother - that You would move in that situation to correct the issue with the nerve stimulator - and even bigger than that - that You would take away all of his pain. Give him hope, God. I also pray for Jamie and her family - that You would do a miracle there by Your hand or by medical intervention. I pray You would intervene in a powerful way in Jamie's life, and that through all of the ups and downs, that by Your grace they would trust You.

Please just pray for our semester - #3 of 4 - for Mike's nursing program. Pray he would be able to keep up with work (and that God would provide the right clients - close by would be nice to keep travel to a minimum) and that he would do well with his courseload - and for the boys and me as there are some days that are long and lonely.Amanda MacBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01333540126086381630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-44895139501021600592013-08-23T08:55:17.626-04:002013-08-23T08:55:17.626-04:00Probably you should warn that Layton: if I ever me...Probably you should warn that Layton: if I ever meet him in person, I'll try to squeeze the stuffins out of him. I love that kid, having prayed for him so much. But it's a real honor and privilege to pray him through this pivotal time in his life. Excited for him about college! I just had a thought, Marlece: can you imagine how hard we'll be praying for Thunder Britches when he's Layton's age? Oh, my mercy.

Thanks for praying for my brother. I can't imagine what it's like for him. I cycle through all the stages of grief and back again, and not in order or a straight line. I'm all over the place. On Wednesday, I was angry and yelling into the phone. Sometimes, I feel sorry for my brother for having to deal with me on top of the rest. :/

Heavenly Father, I come thanking You for Marlece's mama heart and this fine boy she's raised. Thank You for loving Layton. Thank You for his profession of faith and relationship with You. Thank You for bringing him this far: how exciting that he's getting ready to start college! I just ask, Father, that You'll be with Jim, Marlece, and Layton, today, during orientation and the search for housing. I ask Your hand upon Layton all year as he studies and learns. Keep him safe, Father. In Your name I pray, amen.Brandee Shaferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08960175760263515363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2330757098221229362.post-5873437362818337762013-08-23T08:24:18.717-04:002013-08-23T08:24:18.717-04:00Brandee, I am putting Sept 6th on my calendar. You...Brandee, I am putting Sept 6th on my calendar. Your poor brother, I want the Lord to just heal him! I am sure he feels blessed to always have his sister not only in his corner but also always talking to our Lord about him.

Today, Jim, I, and Layton are going to his college school orientation and looking for a place for him to live. I'm praying the Lord's hand is in it all. ALL!marlecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00907684675991124095noreply@blogger.com
